Mission
Kids In Nutrition (KIN) is a nationwide student-led movement dedicated to food justice, sustainable systems, and improved health outcomes for youth through food literacy and access. Recognizing that lifelong habits develop early, KIN equips children with foundational knowledge about nutrition and food systems so they can make informed, healthy food choices as they grow. Our work focuses on marginalized communities, where systemic barriers in education, healthcare, and food access contribute to higher rates of chronic disease. Through early food literacy, KIN works to prevent chronic disease, advance health equity, and support sustainable local food systems.
