Mission
The Sustainable Coffee Institute SCI is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501c3. SCIs primary activities consist of developing and delivering structured educational programs that build technical sensory quality-control and sustainability competencies for individuals across the global coffee sector. These programs are designed to improve product quality environmental stewardship and economic resilience throughout the coffee value chain particularly in producing countries and emerging coffee markets. SCIs educational activities emphasize public-benefit workforce education and capacity building rather than training tailored to the needs of any single employer or commercial enterprise.
