PURPOSE The purposes for which the Corporation is to be formed are 1 the advancement of science though the development of novel technologies and techniques to improve and advance minimally invasive surgery the promotion of teaching and research in minimally invasive surgery and to make available to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis information regarding minimally invasive technology and 2 the relief of the poor and distressed or underprivileged through the provision of minimally invasive technology
