Mission
MTS is organized and operated exclusively as a not-for-profit corporation with the mission of introducing sailing, whether competitively or for pleasure, to youngsters in the U.S. and abroad who otherwise lack the financial means, a sense of belonging, or exposure to the sport. The goal is to provide resources, financial and otherwise to organizations and causes that will expose disadvantaged youth to the sport, help them learn, compete, grow, and excel in the sport and kindle within them a passion for sailing.
