OUR MISSION Everyone in town knows the teacher who inspires us, the nurse who cares for us, the police officer who makes us feel safe. They are the foundation of a vibrant community and to us, they are famous. There's just one problem though: these famous friends aren't guaranteed to stick around forever. Many are renters that lack the savings to purchase a home in town and plant roots. At Famous Friends it is our mission to remove this obstacle to homeownership by providing down payment grants to first-time homebuyers who serve in rural and urban communities that need them the most.
