Mission
In 2025 the induction of labor decision aid continued to be disseminated across the country. Nearly 7,000 people accessed the induction decision aid on the Partner to Decide website. The American College of Nurse-Midwives endorsed the decision aid in their updated 2025 position statement on induction of labor. Dr. Peralta and Kari Radoff were featured on the Evidence Based Birth podcast and gave talks and presentations to diverse audiences including the national network of perinatal quality collaboratives, medical schools, and birthworker convenings. Partner to Decide established a Community Steering Committee, a diverse group of recently pregnant and postpartum individuals from the greater Boston area. This group met in person in July and then twice virtually in the fall. Dr. Peralta worked with clinical collaborators at Boston Medical Center and the University of Alabama on a new decision aid regarding the choice to have a vaginal birth after cesarean or a repeat cesarean.
