Mission
Helios Heuristic provides wrap-around direct services to families at the intersection of child welfare domestic violence and substance use Through grant funding we provide these services for low to moderate income families We assist with paperwork transportation completing court ordered objectives finding local resources and housing reaching personal recovery goals procuring basic needs strengthening relationships finding community connecting with legal services and locating appropriate mental health and medical care The services are provided 24 hours a day by people with lived experience in these areas Our coaches go through extensive training and mentorship to help others still entangled in the systems Our goal is to help families achieve recovery under the SAMHSA definition SAMHSA defines recovery as a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness live a self-directed life and strive to reach their full potential
