The Swapan Chaudhuri Digital Tabla Library is a unique online resource designed to provide the public with access to the teachings and performances of Pt. Swapan Chaudhuri, a master of North Indian Classical music and a world-renowned exponent of the tabla (North Indian percussion instrument). Supporting the Swapan Chaudhuri Digital Tabla Library will help ensure the continuity of North Indian Classical tabla for generations to come. Our mission is to protect, preserve, and provide access to the teaching and performance legacy of Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, and the tradition of the Lucknow Gharana of Tabla, in perpetuity. Our vision is one where any person, anywhere in the world, who sincerely wants to learn the art of Tabla and enrich themselves with this tradition, will have access to the highest level of instruction and a vast collection of Tabla compositions.
