Mission
The Corporation operates as a supporting organization to the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC), which is an agency and instrumentality of the State of Hawaii. HHSC operates public health facilities in the State of Hawaii. The Corporation lessens the burdens of HHSC by providing high-quality patient services in the specialty of mental health, that HHSC would otherwise need to employ itself, to rural areas of the island of Kauai.
