Primary Exempt Purpose: Our Genetic Legacy empowers youth ages 1424 from historically marginalized communities to uncover document and share ancestral legacies using drones and genomics. Mission Statement & Program Activities: OGL advances equity in STEAM by training youth to become FAA-certified drone pilots underwater explorers and digital storytellers. In the past year OGL expanded the We The People Museum led local and international mapping projects and provided paid internships and workforce training. These programs preserve BIPOC heritage and create career pathways in science technology and cultural preservation.
