Mission
LGBTQ Outdoors connects the LGBTQIA+ community to the outdoors through inclusive experiences, community-led programs, and education. The organization fosters belonging, wellness, and environmental stewardship by creating safe spaces where queer people can explore nature, build authentic relationships, and grow in confidence. Programs include national and local outdoor events, ambassador-led chapters, leadership development, and initiatives that promote visibility and representation of LGBTQIA+ individuals in outdoor recreation and conservation.
