Mission
The Atlanta Wood Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Its mission is to divert trees from landfills by salvaging urban wood and transforming it into usable lumber and wood products, thereby reducing environmental waste. The organization promotes sustainability through education, community engagement, and woodworking programs, while providing access to locally sourced, responsibly reclaimed wood resources.
