Mission
To alleviate extreme poverty in Ethiopia by investing in people and developing their ability to help themselves by funding sustainable grass-roots community projects that develop new skills in people and then leverage these skills in entrepreneurial opportunities that generate income while preserving and protecting the natural environment and biodiversity of the communities. Dir Biyabir is incorporated and registered as a charitable organization in the state of California. Dir Biyabir also funds emergency relief for civilians in Ethiopia affected by famine war and epidemics.
