Mission
The Winslow Historical Society receives, preserves, and interprets information and artifacts representing the history of Winslow, Arizona, in order to engage the public with the Old Trails Museum's exhibits and programs. The museum is free, open 20 hours per week, and hosted 2330 vistors in 2024. The museum publishes an annual historical calendar and develops exhibits and other content that interpret its photographic and archival collections. The museum has four on-line photographic collections on the Arizona Memory Project: three permanently-installed, off-site exhibits in Winslow; and hosts free programs for the public several times a year, including an annual meeting of the historical society membership. The museum informs the public of its activities through two websites, two Facebook pages, and a biannual newsletter.
