Mission
Goodwill Industries of Southern Arizona works toward ensuring that all people have the opportunity to reach their potential and contribute to our community. Through quality, evidence-based, workforce development programs; Goodwill Industries of Southern (continued at Schedule O) Arizona served 11,502 people last year. Those served include low-income, at-risk, and adjudicated youth; veterans; young adult ex-offenders; and low-income, unemployed, and underemployed adults. 47% of the workforce development program costs were funded with revenue self-generated by our Goodwill retail sales and 53% were served through grants and funding assistance from federal grants, the State of Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities, the Pima County Arizona@Work system, the City of Tucson-Economic & Workforce Development, the United Way of Southern Arizona, and other donors and community partners.
