Freedmen Heirs Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower small and mid-sized farmers to build generational wealth by expanding market access, providing technical assistance, and enhancing financial resilience. The organization's vision is a future where small and mid-sized farmers build enduring wealth, leave a powerful legacy for future generations, and play a defining role in shaping the character and future of the U.S. agricultural sector. Freedmen Heirs Foundation creates pathways to economic mobility and generational wealth for small and mid-sized farming families through three core program pillars: FH-MAP, which equips farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to access higher-value markets; FARM, which supports cash flow management, budgeting, recordkeeping, and financial planning to build profitable and sustainable farm businesses; and the Legacy Initiative, which supports farmers in building generational wealth, leaving enduring legacies, and play
