Mission
Pets Help The Heart Heal's primary purpose is charitable. Within that context, PHTHH provides coordinated programs to assist youth, especially foster kids and youth who are homeless, to deal with emotional, psychological, and physical challenges by using the human animal bond. Our outreach programs and support services, including life skills, pet therapy, counseling, and coping skills, assist underserved and less fortunate individuals. We provide educational opportunities for youth to explore careers in the animal industry through internships, tours, day camps, and shadow programs. PHTHH establishes and engages in any other outreach activities that further the nonprofit activities of the organization.
