Mission
It is our mission to bring Conejo Valley Latino voices into important community conversations regarding our schools, city and recreation opportunities. We organize and advocate for those not yet ready to speak on their own behalf and seek out opportunities for Latino families to reach their goals by including them in multi-generational, multicultural activities. Our focus is on City, School District, Park District, and business community. Support programs include leadership development, food distribution to low-income families, food recovery, and building awareness of community resources. Adelante Comunidad Conejo creates opportunities for people to work together across differences in income, culture, language, age, ability, and background. While rooted in the Latino community, Adelante has become a visible example of inclusion - where people from different backgrounds build relationships, contribute to shared goals, and participate more fully in community life.
