Mission
Koranda OTool Paramedics Incorporated KOPI operates at the intersection of emergency medicine and mental health. The organization advances its mission through technical training program evaluation and systems-level capacity building. In 2024 KOPI focused on two initiatives: Global Health Systems Development in Arusha Tanzania where it helped establish a prehospital emergency care system and trained first responders now slated for national expansion in 2026; and Community Health Integration in Minneapolis Minnesota where KOPI supported the launch of the MARI Safe Station program linking individuals with substance use disorders to treatment and social services. KOPIs evaluation work provided data-driven recommendations for program sustainability and scale.
