THE PURPOSE OF THE LAOS HEALTH INITIATIVE IS TO SUPPORT MEDICAL CARE IN LUANG PRABONG PROVINCE, LAOS, BY: (1) PROVIDING BETTER EQUIPMENT TO THE TWO MAIN HOSPITALS IN THE PROVINCE; (2) ASSISTING AND UPGRADING EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CAPACITY FOR THE LAO RED CROSS; AND (3) PROVIDE RESOURCES TO THE LAO RED CROSS TO SUPPORT MEDICAL TRAINING IN THE VILLAGES OF LUANG PRABONG PROVINCE
