Mission
The Center currently operates programs in Brooklyn, NY as the first center to provide temporarily housing and other support services to domestic violence survivors and victims of homelessness with a focus on Muslim womens emergency shelter in New York City. The Center furthers its charitable purposes primarily by conducting activities designed to further those purposes, including, but not limited to: providing temporary housing for victims of domestic violence and women facing eviction and/or homelessness and connecting women in need to job opportunities, a range of mental health and medical services, permanent housing facilities, health insurance and legal assistance.
