Mission
AMVETS Hawaii Service Foundation Corp is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving United States veterans, active-duty servicemembers, and their families throughout the State of Hawaii and the Pacific region. AMVETS Hawaii Service Foundation Corp operates as the charitable arm in direct support of AMVETS Department of Hawaii, a nationally chartered Veterans Service Organization (VSO). The Foundation's mission is to enhance the quality of life for veterans through programs focused on wellness, reintegration, adaptive sports, housing support, food security, community outreach, and family assistance. The organization maintains a veteran-centered governance and membership structure. A significant portion of its leadership, board members, and active participants are honorably discharged United States military veterans. The Foundation works in direct partnership with AMVETS Department of Hawaii and supports programs that primarily benefit veterans and their families.
