Mission
Freedom Canines International empowers people through the training and placement of assistance dogs at no cost to Texans with disabilities. The organization raises and trains dogs to perform tasks such as mobility support, medical alert, and hearing assistance. In addition, the program engages students and community members in hands on training experiences that support both the development of the dogs and the growth of participants. Through these efforts, the organization improves independence, confidence, and quality of life for the individuals and communities it serves.
