Emergency Legal Responders (ELR) empowers communities to protect their disaster rights, access aid, and advocate for equitable recovery. In 2024, ELR provided dozens of free workshops and resources to regional and national disaster impacted communities, hosted workshops and trainings across the Gulf South and online. We supported 500+ resident and service providers to identify legal barriers in recovery, improve service capacity and support equitable long term recovery.
