Mission

Plattsburgh Cares provides assistance to those in the Plattsburgh region in need of temporary shelter, food, transportation, child care, medical, and other personal assistance. We work with ecumenical groups and local agencies to provide safe housing on a temporary basis; to help ensure individuals and families who are temporarily homeless have access to food, transportation, and a means to communicate when in need, on a temporary basis; to assist in the provision of childcare and health care for temporarily displaced individuals and families.
