LEAD advocates that people of all ages must be involved in efforts to safeguard and strengthen our democracy. We believe that it is essential to Americas future to capture the synergy when wisdom, experience, and perspectives of established leaders and activists meet the energy and innovative spirit of young people. LEAD brings together a diverse and intergenerational group of activists and leaders to advance democracy through education and civic participation, with a focus on voting rights and social justice. LEAD develops and implements solutions to social problems by providing leadership development training, fellowships, and public speaking opportunities such as seminars, webinars and podcasts. LEAD has unique access to thought leaders, public officials, advocates and activists working to help our nation achieve a more perfect democratic union that guarantees liberty and justice for all.
