Mission
Rehome, rescue and transport dogs facing euthanasia in Aransas County by providing veterinarian assistance, volunteers, and supplies to Aransas County Animal Control, in addition to operating its own facility to provide (i) housing and treatment space for dogs that need additional or ongoing medical treatments and procedures, (ii) kennel space to alleviate overcrowding &/or minimize kill dates at Aransas County Animal Control, and (iii) a space for potential foster families to interact with dogs prior to the fostering process. In addition, Another Chance RFT works to raise awareness in the community of adoption and fostering opportunities and general animal wellness issues, including the need to vaccinate, spay/neuter, and microchip one's dogs.
