Mission
The nonprofit and independent Global Lighting Project assists in providing sustainable lighting by receiving, investing, and allocating public, corporate, and foundation financial support to finance programs and projects designed to benefit the communities with impoverished populations with no access to electricity and therefore, lighting.The Global Lighting Project is committed to conducting its fundraising in an ethical manner that enhances a positive sense of international community, fosters collaboration among all like-minded organizations, and increases awareness of the need for private funds for providing underserved communities with sustainable lighting. Global Lighting Project is committed to continuing research and development for future LED products that will disinfect water, allow vegetation to grow and provide a safer environment
