Mission
Down But Not Out DBNO provides essential humanitarian aid disaster preparedness resources and support services to homeless and low-income individuals in Southern California with a primary focus on Los Angeles Countys most vulnerable communities. Since our founding in 2013 we have maintained consistent weekly outreach initiatives that provide hot meals hygiene kits clothing and emergency preparedness education to those experiencing homelessness and economic hardship. Our work specifically targets underserved areas where traditional assistance programs have limited reach. Through our partnership with LISTOS California weve integrated disaster preparedness education into our existing resource distribution framework enhancing community resilience among populations most vulnerable during emergencies. Our social media platforms @dbnohelps across Facebook Instagram and TikTok document our weekly Thursday operations.
