Mission
The organization works to reduce the number of fires and fire-related injuries and deaths through community education fire prevention programs and public outreach. Activities include conducting fire safety workshops in schools and community centers distributing smoke alarms and educational materials to low-income households and collaborating with local fire departments to promote fire prevention awareness. During the tax year the organization reached approximately 5,000 residents distributed 1,200 smoke alarms and trained 300 individuals in fire safety practices.
