Mission
The New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving is a full-size community orchestra comprised of musicians from Irving and surrounding areas, most of whom have performed together for several years.The members formed the orchestra in the summer of 1988 as an expression of their commitment to preserving the longstanding tradition of superior quality orchestral performance in Irving. The New Philharmonic continues to offer the community a variety of enjoyable and traditional symphonic compositions, as well as popular pieces from film and stage.Through involvement in local service projects, the orchestra enriches the cultural life of the community it serves. The New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving and its members truly exemplify the orchestra's name.
