HOUSTON GALVESTON INSTITUTE AIMS TO TRANSFORM LIVES AND COMMUNITIES WITH INNOVATIVE AND COLLABORATIVE THERAPY, TRAINING AND RESEARCH. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO AIMS TO PROMOTE A RESPECTFUL, COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE LEARNER AND THE TEACHER, AND THE THERAPIST AND THE CLIENT, THUS IMPROVING THE QUALITY AND INTEGRITY OF THE EDUCATION OF MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE. CLINICAL SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE INSTITUTE OFFER A LEARNING LABRATORY FOR THE TRAINING OF PSYCHOTHERAPISTS AND THE DEVELOPMENT AND REFINEMENT OF THEORY AND PRACTICE.
