TO PROVIDE QUALITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE & TRAINING SERVICES TO MEMBER OWNERS OF REFINERIES, INDUSTRIAL OR MANUFACTURING PLANTS, TERMINAL TANK STORAGE AND OIL DOCKS IN THE SOUTH TEXAS AREA, TO OPERATE A WORLD-CLASS TRAINING CENTER TO MEET THE TRAINING NEEDS AND BUSINESS GOALS OF ITS MEMBERSHIP, TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL LIAISON AND ASSISTANCE TO OTHER FIREFIGHTING, EMERGENCY RESPONSE, AND GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES IN PROTECTING THE LIVES AND PROPERTY OF OTHERS IN RETURN FOR A PROMISE OF RECIPROCAL AID AND APPROPRIATE REIMBURSEMENT, TO PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT WHICH ENCOURAGES THE PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OF ITS EMPLOYEES AND TO PARTICIPATE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT IN ASSURING THE PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE SAFETY OF EMPLOYEES, MEMBERSHIP, AND NEIGHBORS, IN ORDER TO BE RESPONSIBLE CORPORATE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND ASSIST IN MAINTAINING A QUALITY WAY OF LIFE IN THE SOUTH TEXAS AREA.
