Mission
Accomplishments include training and continuing education of preserve volunteers for various preserve roles providing summer camp scholarships and supplies administering annual photo contest and photography workshops doing trash pick up through Adopt-A-Highway program butterfly garden maintenance and plantings addressing advocacy issues organizing nature field trips for Friends members and public outreach. In addition we started a fundraising campaign to raise funds to transform all nature exhibits in the Interpretive Center into a dynamic interactive space that brings the wonders of the slough world to life.
