THE MISSION OF THE SHERIFF'S FOUNDATION OF BROWARD COUNTY (SFBC) IS TO PROVIDE MORAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE FAMILIES OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE LINE OF DUTY AND TO FUND PROGRAMS OF THE BROWARD SHERIFF'S OFFICE THAT ENHANCE PUBLIC SAFETY AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL BROWARD COUNTY RESIDENTS. SFBC FULFILLS THIS MISSION DIRECTLY AND THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS TO QUALIFYING TAX-EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.
