Motherly Care MOCA Family Services founded by Joyce S Pearson a minoritywoman owned business with its non-profit 5013 Pounds of Care has facilitated delivery of meaningful opportunities to River Region families for 35 years significantly impacting and restoring at risk women Central in these efforts is the effective design and delivery of occupational training programs which equip at-need women men with highly marketable skills which open the door to new employment and a better life Pounds of Care has offered but not limited to - ElderDisabled-Care Program Child Development Centers parenting skills training food distribution and consultation During that time Pounds of Care has diligently worked wmany local organizations providing many other services
