Mission
The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, Inc. (NASAA) is the professional association that serves the nation's 56 state and jurisdictional arts agencies. We are a nonpartisan national not-for-profit organization that champions public support for the arts in America. The mission is to strengthen state arts agencies. We provide knowledge, representation and community building services that help state arts agencies excel in their many citizen service roles. Our work is driven by a strong belief that the arts are essential to a thriving democracy and that the public, private and nonprofit sectors each have a vital role to play in sustaining the arts.
