Impact Grant - Preserving Healthy Food for Our Community. House of Hope is proposing a food preservation program to preserve fresh produce that we grow or receive in bulk donations as well as healthy meals and sauces that we make in our nutrition center. This program will reduce our food waste increase healthy food options for our clients and partners significantly increase the shelf-life of healthy food items we distribute and offer training for individuals to learn new processes for home or business use. We will sustain this project with public sales of preserved items with House of Hope branding fees collected from those attending paid training classes grants and philanthropy and raising awareness of our mission.
