Mission
The Organization operates the Farmers Justice Center, which is a nonprofit law firm that supports and defends family farmers and their communities to help keep farmers on the land. In furtherance of this mission, Farmers Justice Center provides legal services, including litigation, legal advice and counsel, and conducts activities aimed at relieving the poor and distressed, combating community deterioration, eliminating discrimination, supporting environmental conservation and mitigating climate change, lessening the burdens of government, and educating, training, supporting, and assisting family farmers, rural residents, and others who are without sufficient means to adequately maintain or enforce their legal rights.
