Mission
The Palos Verdes Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was formed in 1982 and currently has 31 active members. The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The memberships consist of 17,000 professional women of color in 299 chapters located in 42 states, the District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom committed to Leadership, Friendship and Service.The organization has made its name synonymous with effective programming through five facets: The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, Health and Human Services, and Services to Youth. Through these programs, The Links has impacted the lives of countless men, women, and children all over the world.
