Mission
The primary purpose Alcoholics Anonymous is to carry the message of recovery to suffering alcoholics. The Alano Club provides the facilities and infrastructure so that Alcoholics Anonymous groups can meet in a safe, clean environment to carry out the message. The Alano Club also provides a place for sober social activities. The building is open seven days a week, hosting over 30 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings each week. Attendance at meetings ranges from five to seventy people. All meetings are run by sober alcoholics who volunteer to serve six-month commitments.
