Mission
Jiamini, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The purposes of this corporation are: To provide scholarships to Tanzanian students in primary and / or secondary school. Scholarship funds may be used to pay for tuition fees, testing fees and school supplies; To provide a peer social network for gifted, impoverished students in Tanzania; To promote public awareness in remote Tanzanian regions about the general economic opportunities afforded by completing a basic education; To promote public awareness in the United States about the state of public education in Tanzania
