Mission
To promote the common good and general welfare of Peninsula Township, Michigan. In this instance, by funding of a non profit entity, Protect The Peninsula and its hiring of independent legal counsel and related expenses to litigate on behalf of the residents of Peninsula Township, MI in regards to an attempt by an association of eleven commercial wineries located in the township, suing to negate certain township agricultural ordinance provisions regulating wine production, sales and related events. This litigation is ongoing and filed in the federal district court of the WD of Michigan, file 1 20 cv 01008. The case is now on appeal in the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, file No 25-1703.
