Mission
BuildZero.Org's nonprofit, social mission is to enable and catalyze transformation of the US building industry toward a sustainable Zero Emissions paradigm that will significantly lower fossil fuel consumption, carbon production and global warming. US buildings account for over 40% of US energy consumption. Create free, open access internet tools and best practice content for designing, modeling and building Zero Energy buildings, campuses, and communities. We further our purposes under this program by conducting the following activities: Design, develop and publish Open Source and Open Access Zero Energy modeling software and best practices content for free distribution and use over the Internet.
