Mission
Cantata Profana, Inc. (www.cantataprofana.com) is a vocal and instrumental chamber ensemble that presents concerts of classical and chamber music ranging from the Baroque to modern eras with a unique narrative style. Our purpose is to broaden the possibilities of classical programming and the audience for classical chamber concerts by bringing lesser known masterpieces to life, briding the gap from baroque to modern performance practices, championing the repertoire of vocal chamber music in live performance, and collaborating with directors, designers and artists in other media.
