TO ENCOURAGE LASTING PEACE BETWEEN JAPAN AND THE UNITED STATES BY REUNITING JAPANESE RELATIVES WITH THE BELONGINGS OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS WHO WENT MISSING DURING WORLD WAR II THROUGH THE DISCOVERY, IDENTIFICATION, AND RETURN OF JAPANESE WAR FLAGS TO THEIR JAPANESE FAMILIES.
