SPARTA provides transgender service members with world-class peer support and mentoring to maximize resilience, excellence in service, mission readiness, and retention. SPARTA educates commanders, lawmakers, service members, and the public on transgender service concerns, procedures, best practices, and the exceptionalism of an inclusive, all-volunteer military representative of the American people. SPARTA advocates for the legal right of transgender service members to serve openly, authentically, and as their affirming gender.
