Mission
The purposes for which the Corporation is organized are to apply its income and property, exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, either by distributing it directly to the inteded beneficiaries thereof, or through other corporations, community chests, funds or foundations organized and operated exclusively for such purposes and to engage in other activities which are exclusively in furtherance of these purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"), including without limitation to provide financial support to organizations providing medical and other support to families with someone afflicted with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and to organizations and institutions conducting research to find a cause and a cure for ALS.
