Over the years, the need for child abuse prevention education programs became increasingly apparent as not only more accounts of abuse emerged but an increasing number of Jewish communities in the United States and around the world inquired about and requested the culturally appropriate and sensitive Safety Kid programs for their communities.Magen Yeladim: Child Safety Institutes's mission is to meet the need for culturally sensitive child abuse prevention materials and education in the Orthodox Jewish communities throughout the United States.
