Mission
DC Legendary Musicians, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to preserve, interpret, and celebrate the cultural and historical legacy of African American musicians in Washington, DC. Through humanities-based programming-including oral history, live performance, arts education, and public events-we promote historical awareness, cultural pride, and community engagement. Our work ensures that the contributions of Black musicians are documented, honored, and accessible to current and future generations.
